1. The Book of Life

Dear our children,
The purpose of this book is to help you learn that all this wonderful creation of heaven and earth we see is the work of our Almighty God.
It also wants you to know that this God is not only the creator of the whole world but also the sweetest, loving and merciful Father for all mankind.
Our one and triune God, that is, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, is the Light of all the world. He is, my children, like the sun that sends its rays to the earth, so that we can all enjoy and be delighted by its light and warmth. God the Father, who is the sun, sends His Son to the earth like sunbeams of joy and hope, to flood with the grace of the Holy Spirit, with light, peace and happiness, those who trust Him, love Him and obey His divine commands.

The purpose of whatever He says and whatever He commands us to do, is for our own joy and happiness. When we disobey His divine advice, then joy and serenity leave our soul and we live in the fear and pain of sin.
God, as our sweet heavenly, affectionate and merciful Father, wants us to be close to Him, in His warm and safe Fatherly embrace. In order to guide us correctly in the course of our lives, He gave us His law and His word through the two precious books of the Holy Bible, which are the Old Testament and the New Testament.
In the Old Testament we learn the whole historical path of the human race until the coming of the Son of God on earth, our Lord Jesus Christ.
In the New Testament we learn about the greatest miracle that happened on earth. The Son of God became man and came to live among us to teach us the will of our heavenly Father, Whom over time we had forgotten and strayed away from Him.
First, we will start with the Old Testament. We will see how our Trinity God created heaven, earth and man. We will learn the mistakes we made as humans and have strayed away from God's embrace, but also the efforts He made as our heavenly Father to bring us back to Him. We will talk then about the old promise, that is, the first promise that God has given to mankind, that He will send His only begotten Son to save mankind.
We will continue to talk about the New Testament, that is, the new agreement of God the Father with mankind, which begins with the coming of the Son of God on earth as a human. To all of those who will accept the Son of God and follow His holy teachings as described in His holy Gospel, God will grant them His heavenly kingdom to live eternally in the absolute joy and happiness of Paradise.
